#kamisukareview – For now, if we talk about reality, we are talking about a range of affordable smartphones. So even with the unit review realm 6 which has landed on the editorial desk. This series targets limited circle but need a device that is ready for combat in various fields.
The presence of Realme 6 has slightly changed the battle map in the lower middle segment. Aiming at the midrange market for the price of 3 million, this series has been equipped with a 90Hz display, quad camera, battery with fast charging capability and a powerful runway kitchen.
But if anyone considers this series to be the successor to reality 5, it might be a little shocked because realm 6 has gone up in class. Even the vendor asserted if this new series is more deservedly dubbed as the successor to the reality of the 5 pro.
Curious as to what is this realm 6? Let's look at our review below.
Unboxing realm 6
Before stepping into in-depth reviews, it helps us to peek in advance the sales package from the realm review unit 6 that we are holding. Just like some other series that are present in Indonesia, the reality of wrapping its products in a yellow box. Looks simple.
When dismantled, we will find a smartphone unit wrapped in plastic. Then several sheets of paper consisting of manuals and warranty cards. There is also a SIM ejector tucked. Be careful of being tucked or falling, because something as small as a pin is quite important.
And, in the deepest part, there is a set of charging devices. One charger head that is bigger than the average on the market. Similarly, the USB Type-C data cable is quite thick. Understandably, this is the hallmark of VOOC fast charging.
The realm review unit 6 that we hold uses 'Comet Design' which is quite attractive. The first time we saw it, we were immediately attracted to the blue color of the back body that looked sparkling with a light line centered down. Yups, the exterior area of this HP realm looks premium to us.
While on the front panel, the realm is a bit refreshing the display. They remove the notch or bangs and replace it with a punch hole in the top left of the touch screen. realm is typical of those who dare to innovate continuously in the design sector.
The vendor shamelessly took the best 'example' on the market while adding a new touch. For Realme 6, they carry punch holes in the front panel and bring color gradations to the rear body.
Interestingly, this front camera has a punch hole light effect. The edges of the lens will light up just before opening the face unlock or opening the front camera.
The screen size is quite large, 6.5 inches is supported by Full HD + resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. As a result, when our fingers scroll the interface left and right, up and down, feels smooth and smooth transitions between menus.
The IPS LCD screen can still look optimal despite being hit by direct sunlight. Realm also seeks to secure our eyes with the support of eye protection, dark mode and OSIE (Object and Semantic Images and Eye-tracking).
There are interesting things that realm in the me 6 Series; this. They put the fingerprint sensor on the power button on the right side of the body. Yes, with the integrated fingerprint scanner in this area, some people who are accustomed to activating sleep mode via the power button can simultaneously unlock the screen. Once paddling two three islands are exceeded. Practical and efficient.
Rear body made of polycarbonate plastic material does not look cheap. Somehow the vendor designed it, but day after day, they were able to eliminate ‘feel'Plastic from this material. Besides feeling good, the shiny appearance of gradations makes this latest HP realm look premium.
The rear body of Realme 6 is the seat of four camera sensors in a line-down formation. It's just that this row of cameras is placed in a 'stand' protruding out from the surface of the body, so the edges are vulnerable to being scratched or scratched. The solution to avoiding this is by installing a rubber casing that is included in the sales package.
This series has three card slots on the left side which consists of two SIM card slots and one microSD slot. There is a USB Type-C port with USB On-the-Go support in the lower section along with a 3.5 mm audio port.
Processor and Memory
This smartphone is armed with a Mediatek MT6785 Helio G90T chipset. The runway kitchen is designed to accommodate the needs of middle class devices. Designed through a 12nm process, this chipset combines eight cores.
The CPU of the Helio G90T consists of two clusters which are powered by two Cortex A76 and six Cortex A55. As for the graphics processor, the GPU Mali-G76 MC4 is amazing. It's powerful enough to support lower middle class smartphones.
For hardware and software optimization in Realm 6 such as the vendor can integrate it well. Gaming performance on this smartphone is quite satisfying.
When playing PUBG Mobile for example, we can immediately boost it with the highest graphic settings. There are no distractions when playing, feels smooth and fun. Just a note, PUBG only supports 60Hz refresh rates.
Reflecting on the experience above, it seems we don't need to discuss the performance of Realme 6 when used to play middle class 3D games like Mobile Legends and others. It's going to be glorious, in our opinion.
For casual use or standard needs, it is certainly very satisfying. Opening applications in multitasking, internet activities such as social media, including being used to watch Yotube videos, we feel safe.
The realm review unit 6 that we hold is equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. Of course it is more than enough to be used to hoard many applications, even with large file sizes. The internal memory is very roomy for pocketing files, videos, photos and others.
For benchmarks, we use Geekbench. This realm review unit 6 can score 515 for single-core tests and 1646 for multi-core tests. Then for the GPU test successfully obtained a 1976 score.
In the software section, the vendor has brought the latest generation. Yups Realme 6 has combined the Android 10 platform with the UI Realme interface. With its own custom user interface, realm tries to release OPPO's touch slowly.
Indeed, if you pay attention to the UI Realme interface it still has many similarities with ColorOS, but at least, the vendor can appear confident with this new identity. Indeed there are some bloatware that burden their interface, the number reaches more than 10 applications.
This interface as we have reviewed in the C3 realm review relies on a relatively simple appearance and has the characteristics of approaching stock Android. Existing icon elements are made practical and more optimal for one-handed use. In terms of system animation, UI realms are equipped with the latest quantum animation engine, which is able to improve the smoothness of the screen.
Now users can not only change the shape and size of the icons but also can change the internal graphic size of the icons. To enhance the user experience, UI realm has 4 trendy features that can be adjusted: Focus Mode, Dual-Mode Music Share, Three-Finger Screenshot Gesture and Personal Information Protection.
There are also features such as updated Game Space, and a built-in screen recording that can now record system sounds directly without going through a microphone. Anyway, this interface is already okay, can compete with UI's top brands.
Camera Realm 6
In this photography area, the realm is to prepare a total of 5 optics. Four on the back camera and one on the front camera. Oh yes, the vendor buried the Samsung ISOCELL GW1 lens, 64MP high-resolution wide-angle sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle, B&W Portrait and 2MP macro.
If you peek at features embedded in the camera interface, you can find Time-Lapse, Ultra-Macro, Pro camera, Slo-Mo, Pano and Night mode. And in the front area, there is a selfie camera with 16MP resolution.
The quality of the camera is indeed not the best. But if we talk about the class, maybe at the price we spend, the performance of the Realme 6 camera can still be considered satisfactory.
In low light conditions, we can indeed get satisfying photos. The night mode feature in this smartphone is one of the best aspects. Realme successfully presents the best photo quality in low light conditions.
In fact, without having to activate night mode, the camera shots were still quite good and bright. Noise and blurred images can be reduced, although the details are not very good. Just one note, for some reason, the results of shots using Realme 6 unit review is sometimes too sharp and bright.
While using night mode, the photos in low light conditions, at night or in low light, the resulting shots are quite sharp and look good. For the selfie camera, the quality is more satisfying.
For video recording, this cellphone is supported by various interesting features. The front camera can do real time video bokeh effects. While the rear camera is equipped with UIS video stabilization. Supports Ultra Wide-angle video recording and has real-time video bokeh effects. Can record 4K / 30fps video and record video slo-mo 1080P / 120fps 720p / 240fps.
Realme Battery Capacity 6
Realme 6 battery capacity is quite large namely 4300mAh. Supported with a 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 charger made by OPPO. Used for daily casual needs, this chipset is efficient enough to last around 1.5 days. But for more severe needs, such as playing games, watching videos and internet access continuously, battery life drops to around the day.
Seeing the large battery capacity, of course there are concerns about the long charging time. But take it easy, VOOC fast charging technology embedded in Real 6 can overcome everything. When tested, it only takes about an hour to charge from zero to full. Very fast!
Realm Price 6: Buy or Not?
Realm 6 is proof that the vendor is really serious about improving the product. Now they are not just onions in the market, maybe even the public 'forgot' that Realme is a new brand. In addition to being able to escape from the shadow of OPPO, this series continues to creep up to the ranks of the top five.
Realme 6 has a satisfying display, impressive performance, a promising camera and a large capacity battery. For those who need a new smartphone with minimal lag, supported by a jumbo battery and a pretty good camera, this series is a pretty ideal choice.
With the price of Realme 6 which is quite rational in the market which is Rp.3.39 million 4GB / 128GB variants and Rp. 3,799,000 variants of 8GB / 128GB, it is equipped with a complementary set of packages.
Strengths and Weaknesses of Realm 6
And finally, before deciding to buy, you should know the advantages and disadvantages of this latest HP realm. The most prominent advantage is the delicious 90Hz referh rate for playing games.
Realme 6 is supported by VOOC Flash Charge 4.0, it only takes an hour to charge it. And large-capacity memory facilities.
The drawback is that the screen still relies on IPS LCD and the use of polycarbonate material. If only this aspect could be further refined then the level of attractiveness would be even higher.
