This increase in data services occurred from April to May 2020.

“The increase in traffic is consistently reaching more than 10% compared to April. Almost the same as since the enactment of WFH last March, “said Munir Syahda Prabowo, VP of Technology Relations Smartfren.
If in the previous Eid-Lebaran there was an increase in traffic increase in the area due to the mobility of Smartfren customers going home.

This time Lebaran the increase is relatively stable due to the adoption of the PSBB policy from the government not to go home on Lebaran this year. This resulted in the quality of the Smartfren network being maintained and remaining optimal in all service areas.

Munir added, the increase in Smartfren data traffic was due to the increasingly widespread use of online community activities in all fields supported by the provision of SF data quota packages that were appropriate and affordable.
