#kamisukareview – Samsung finally launched the lite version of his Galaxy Z Flip series with the most affordable price variant. This smartphone is alleged to be the cheapest folding touch screen cellphone.
This is a counter strategy from Samsung to face the invasion of several Chinese manufacturers who will also launch a foldable touch screen phone next year.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip Lite
Rumored if Samsung is developing a new foldable smartphone which might be called the Galaxy Z Flip Lite. Judging from that nickname, it might come with a form factor similar to the Galaxy Z Flip with a clamshell design.
Until now, Samsung hasn't officially shared any information about Samsung's latest cellphone this. Is a tweet from analyst Ross Young exposing rumors about him.
This folding cellphone is alleged to come with Ultra-Thin Glass (UTG). Foldable phones could be more affordable than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and will probably boost sales of foldable smartphone technology for the mainstream market.
According to the SamMobile report, Samsung is working on a cheaper folding glass with a lower UTG production cost. This may pay off with a series that is rumored to launch in the next year.
Samsung is expected to stick with UTG for this upcoming foldable phone, be it flagship or budget-friendly. The company has made progress with UTG displays with the release of the Galaxy Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Flip.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is globally priced at Rp. 30,000,000, while the Galaxy Z Flip is priced at Rp. 16,300,000.
While the rumored pricing for the Galaxy Z Flip Lite hasn't been announced as of now, it will be interesting to see how “affordable” this phone is.
