The 14-inch and 16-inch Macbook rumors

There have been many rumors about Apple's silicon-powered 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models and it is said that they might launch soon, following Apple's launch in the previous year.

Render by @Jetfromthenorth on Instagram to try and guess what the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models will look like. These models are said to be powered by the rumored M1X processor from Apple which will be the successor to the M1.

Other specifications shared in the render include up to 32GB of integrated memory, Wi-Fi 6, Liquid Retina XDR display, FaceID, and USB 4.0. It's unclear whether the 14-inch and 16-inch models will be supported by the M1X processor or just the 16-inch MacBook Pro.

A report from TechRadar states that the 16-inch MacBook Pro model looks a little slimmer which may be due to the efficiency of the processor and doesn't require the same type of cooling as the previous Intel-based models.

At the end of November 2020, the 16-inch MacBook Pro with the Apple M1X 12-core processor is said to be more powerful than the M1 processor. Earlier that month, a MacBook Pro 14-ich model with Apple's M1 processor was also mentioned.

Both models are expected to launch this year and a report by TechRadar states that they could launch in early March or April.

Furthermore, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently shared that Apple AirTags, a new MacBook model with Apple silicon, and augmented reality (AR) devices, will all be available soon for 2021.

It is also believed that two new MacBook Pro models and a new iPad model could arrive with mini-LED displays this year.

It must be reiterated that this rendering is neither official nor claims leak. @Jetfromthenorth is a 3D concept artist and is not associated with Apple. The final product design will certainly not be the same, but it's interesting to see what Apple brings to their upcoming product.
