The Galaxy Chromebook 2 also features a thinner bezel. Samsung retains the 2-in-1 form factor and offers support for the Universal Stylus Initiative (USI) pen on its new Chromebook.

Furthermore, the Galaxy Chromebook 2 comes in two different color options to choose from and has the 10th generation Intel Celeron and Intel Core i3 variants, and has also significantly lowered the price tag.

The price of the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 starts at $ 549.99 (approx. Rs. 7.8 Million), as reported by The Verge. The price is significantly cheaper than last year's edition of the Galaxy Chromebook, which debuted at $ 999.99 (approx. Rp.14 million). The Galaxy Chromebook 2 comes in Fiesta Red and Mercury Gray colors.

The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 features a 13.3-inch full-HD (1,920 × 1,080 pixels) QLED display with touch support. It's powered by an Intel Celeron 5205U or a 10th generation Intel Core i3-10110U processor, paired with Intel UHD Graphics and up to 8GB LPDDR3 RAM.

Chromebooks come in 64GB and 128GB storage options – along with support for expansion via microSD card.

Samsung has provided 5W stereo speakers along with Smart AMP sound which are said to be capable of producing audio output that is up to 178 percent louder than the average amplifier. There is also support for styluses that can have a pressure sensitivity of up to 4,096 levels.

The Galaxy Chromebook 2 features an HD webcam (720p). There is also a backlit grid keyboard. Furthermore, the Chromebook includes a 45.5WHr battery.

Connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 include two USB Type-C ports, a headphone / microphone combo jack, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth v5.0. It runs on Google Chrome OS with Google Play Store access.

The Chromebook measures 304.9 × 203.2 × 13.9mm and weighs 1.23 kilograms. This laptop is neither too slim nor light when compared to the first generation Galaxy Chromebook which is 9.9mm thick and weighs 1.04 kilograms.

But even so, the cheaper price and the presence of a QLED screen make this new model both very attractive to many Samsung fans to own it.
